Freshers’ Party 2013 was a charming
extravaganza to break formalities and bring about a buoyant, beautiful
relationship between the batches. Organized with alacrity and acumen by the
students of Batch-13 and Laasya ( IFMR Cultural Club),the event heightened the
spirits of youngsters.
As in every other social event at IFMR, the entertainment quotient was high.
Mellifluous melody of our master singers had a magical effect on the discerning
audience. Dancers set the stage ablaze with their energy and zeal. The
performances were a colourful mix of fast peppy numbers and enthralling salsa.
Ads-up and dance centered around comedy evoked hearty laughter.
Mr.Sourav Kamilya and Ms.Monica Mishra were crowned as Mr.and
Miss.Fresher respectively. Mr. Abhijith.T
and Ms.Manoja Duggaraju were lauded for their high voltage performances.
Ms.Gayathri.S and Mr.Sahil Manchanda were chosen as the best dancers. Ms.Sama
Pranitha Reddy was selected as the best singer.
The fast paced event presented a welcome break from monotony and served
as a shot in the arm to pursue our goals with ease and enthusiasm.
